June, July, and August Reads
I've been on a cycling / hiking / camping binge this summer, and haven't read as much as I usually do. Italo Calvino's If on a Winter Night a Traveler was a fun twist on narrative structure. Scott Alexander had a good article on gender differences. Radiolab had a great episode on free will and justice (favorite quote: "Free will is the biology we don't understand yet"), and another great one the technological future of fake news. And Danny MacAskill made the most amazing love song to Scotland that I have ever seen (look up the behind-the-scenes video too).
